Meet Mrs. Gracie

Our very own “Chef” Mrs. Mary Grace Pena, aka “Mrs. Gracie”, is the Food Manager and Head Cook of the Blue Jay Café. She has been employed with St. Pius X School for over 21 years. 8 of those years she has been managing the Cafeteria and has her own catering company. Grace and her husband Ernie Pena have been married 26 years and have two daughters, Allie, 26, and Alyssa, 23. Ernie has a son, Nicholas, 29. They have three grandchildren, Joshua, Jaylen, and Ashley (Nicholas’ daughter).

Grace enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to cook for others and loves her “babies” here at St. Pius X School. She feels very blessed to have been employed with the Diocese of Corpus Christi all these years. Working with such a great group of people makes coming to work a pleasure for her. She truly feels blessed that God has put her in the path of many wonderful people including the parents and students of St. Pius x School.
