Rebecca Gilpin
My name is Rebecca Gilpin and I am thrilled to be returning to my alma mater as the school counselor this year. I am a proud Saint Pius X graduate and product of Catholic school in this diocese, having also attended Bishop Garriga middle school and Incarnate Word Academy. I obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and also hold state licensure as a school psychologist. I have 10 years of experience working in local school districts and private practice.
Through this position, I hope to serve as a source of support for students, parents, and staff, while helping to facilitate our Blue Jays' emotional and spiritual development. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing, and spending time with my two dogs. I am most excited to get to "go to school" with my Godson each day as he begins his first year as a Blue Jay!
